Renzo R Guinto, 2024 Advanced Advocacy Program Fellow and 2016 New Voices Fellow, has co-authored a paper that evaluates how the COP26 Health Programme is doing in terms of effectiveness. This was an initiative aiming to develop low-carbon, resilient health systems globally. The paper finds that there are gaps in the available data and inconsistencies around reporting of actual progress. The paper calls for more robust indicators to be used to improve the outcomes seen from this programme.
