Rene Sparks is a public health practitioner with a foundation in nursing and Senior Atlantic Fellow at Tekano – Health Equity South Africa. She has over 19 years’ experience in healthcare across private, public and civil society spaces in South Africa as well as abroad. She is passionate about sexual and reproductive health and rights, creating access to quality health care by providing training to health workers and amplifying the voices of communities through identifying intersectionalities and creating opportunities to collaborate with various stakeholders.
