Peggy Clark is the Founder and Interim Executive Director of Aspen Global Innovators Group (AGI) where she leads programs pioneering breakthrough solutions to global development challenges. AGI trains exceptional leaders from underserved communities through transformative fellowship programs, innovative convenings, and targeted advocacy.

Peggy has had a 30-year career focused on poverty alleviation, global health, social enterprise, and development finance, holding senior positions at the Aspen Institute, the Ford Foundation, Save the Children and Realizing Rights. Peggy serves as Chair of the Ashesi University Foundation of Ghana, and as Chair of Africa Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA) and serves on the boards of Last Mile Health and Calvert Impact Capital. Peggy has been a leading figure in identifying and founding enterprises, movements, creative advocacy, and fields of work to address key issues of our times.

Select accomplishments include receiving the Presidential Award for Excellence in Microenterprise from President Bill Clinton; serving on the inaugural Microenterprise Advisory Council to the Administer of USAID; passage of the WHO Global Code of Practice on the Ethical Recruitment of Health Workers; founding Realizing Rights with former President of Ireland Mary Robinson; founding the Aspen New Voices Fellowship; helping to create and establish the Calvert Foundation; and founding and serving as the Co-Director of Aspen Ideas Health.
